If you’ve ever wanted to eat something that looks beautiful, tastes amazing, and is made with real, simple ingredients, this bowl is for you. These Galaxy Swirl Smoothie Bowls are colorful, fresh, and full of flavor.

They’re made by blending three layers of frozen fruit until smooth using my Vitamix. It’s the only blender I use for smoothie bowls because it creates that thick, creamy texture without needing extra liquid. Once blended, I pour the layers into my Coconut Bowls and swirl them together. The contrast between the natural bowls and the bright colors makes the whole thing look even better.

The yellow layer is frozen mango with coconut milk
The blue layer is banana blended with butterfly pea flower powder, which gives it a bold blue color
The purple layer is made with blackberries and banana, giving it a deep, rich color and slightly tart flavor

Swirling them together creates a vibrant, galaxy-like pattern that looks great and tastes even better

The Recipe (Serves 2)

Yellow Layer
1 cup frozen mango
1/4 cup coconut milk

Blue Layer
1 frozen banana
1 teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder
1/4 cup coconut milk

Purple Layer
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 frozen banana
1/4 cup coconut milk

Instructions
Blend each layer separately in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix until thick and smooth. Rinse the blender between each layer to keep the colors clean.

Pour each layer into your Coconut Bowls, then gently swirl them together with a spoon or knife to create a marbled effect.

Top with sliced banana, blueberries, and shredded coconut, or anything else you like

Why I Use My Vitamix and Coconut Bowls

My Vitamix handles frozen fruit really well and gives the bowls that smooth, scoopable texture I’m always looking for. I’ve used it for years, and it makes a big difference in how the final bowl turns out.

I also love serving smoothie bowls in Coconut Bowls. They’re simple, sustainable, and add a natural touch to the presentation. Plus, they help keep the smoothie cold a little longer, which is always nice.
